Decor is fab
Cocktails and food are gorgeous! 13 euro cocktails and 7 for a pint
Staff super friendly
Pool is really hot so really nice when its raining cold outside
Sauna and steam room lovely
Restaurant and rooftop sophies is gorgeous and cheaper than the one in Dublin.
Location perfect, 5/8min walk to main square
Cons
Parking. We got on street parking but had to renew it every 2 hours and cost 20 euro a day
Bed far too soft and squeaky
Room CRAZY small, smallest we've ever been in
Lighting in room is awful
Windows are large and other hotel rooms are facing you so blinds have to be down all the time
Dont touch the mini bar, so pricey

Really enjoyed our stay at The Dean. The Dean is situated right in the heart of Galway city, 10/10 location. When checking in, we got a complimentary upgrade to a Double room! Gorgeous hotel interiors, the cocktail service in the pool is also a lovely touch. Only thing I would say is the walls are quite thin- we could hear our neighbor snoring, flushing toilet etc. But overall would definitely recommend staying here if you’re coming to Galway.

A bit of a last minute booking, found this place by pure luck! Location was perfect, amenities, staff ambiance all absolutely marvellous!!!
If and we ever return to Galway, we will definitely stay here again!

An overrated hotel for rich drunk kids, possibly the thinnest walls in Ireland. The first impression is "what a cool hotel" but then you realize the sink is not draining, the shower is dirty and you can hear every party from neighboring rooms.
