Nice clean hotel. Very friendly staff.
Hotel is very large wurh multiple buildings all joined together. long corridors leading to the bedrooms at the rear.
We enjoyed a cocktail in the bar which was in the adjacent building , where breakfast was also served. It’s an odd layout to get from the bedroom area to the breakfast area which involved going outside and into the building next door.
The room was good size with comfortable bed and very clean.
Bit of updating required in relation to lack of usb charger socket ( staff were able to provide a plug, but it is the norm to have usb sockets these days) and no air con. The fan provided by the hotel was fine but the room was still quite hot.

New hotel to me. Rather larger than the pics suggest as it stretches over multiple buildings. Lovely social areas with a toasty warm bar and restaurant serving great food. Still can’t adjust to hotel food prices nowadays ….but the Cullen Skink risotto was good!

I visited The Chester Hotel with a group of friends and our children. We stayed in The House which was immaculate and beautifully decorated. All of the bedrooms were spacious with the addition of 2 living rooms and a dining room.
We did feel that the property may have benefited from a small kitchen area with perhaps a sink, microwave and a toaster but also recognise that it is perhaps more common for adults to book The House and use the hotels dining facilities.
We had a great stay and would recommend
