Food in the new Skylark was amazing. Great value for money. Staff in the hotel were very helpful and friendly. Room was fantastic. We will definitely be back.

Loved our stay at the Marcliffe. We booked a deluxe king room at a reasonable price. The room was lovely with great quality furnishings and comfortable bed. Windows open, which is always a plus point for me. Nice bathroom with quality toiletries and great walk in shower. We had breakfast in the restaurant and it was excellent. Helped ourselves to a good continental selection and ordered hot food of 3 egg omelet and full Scottish. Both very tasty and enjoyable, made with good quality Scottish local produce. All staff we spoke to were very pleasant and helpful. Can't fault our stay at all and will definitely return.

We booked a room for one night so we didn’t have to drive when going out for a meal. Even though I turned up scruffy in my work clothes the staff made us feel special. Sorted us a taxi for when we were ready, sent ice bucket and glasses to the room, opened doors for us. Yes it was not the cheapest room for the night but it does WOW. Treat yourself or someone special I would definitely go back.
