We booked 3 nights. Nothing special when we arrived. The room is as it shows in the listing except the bathroom is strangely designed with a super big hot water tank next to a super small standing bath area cover by plastic curtain. Not ideal but also not a big thing to complain for a budget hotel. Until we discovered that the air con and ventilation system does not work. I came talk to the staff and he joined me coming back to the room for checking. After a few tries with the in-room controller, he told us that he would need to check something and disappeared. I waited for an hour and the came back to the reception just to see him sitting there without letting us know the status. When I asked, he was like “oh, i have done everything from my end and it is now ok in my system”. I told him it still didnt work in the room and he asked me “How can I do? I don’t know what to do. I do not own this hotel and Im here on my own”. I asked if he can move us to another room and the answer is no. He advised us to open the balcony door and wait until the sunset then it would be cooler at night!!! And then the circle of “How can i know” keeps repeating until i was too upset and left the reception.
We tried to contact Agoda for guidance as we wanted to leave but not sure if any paper work required. After struggling with the chatbot, I’ve got connected with the agent who again left me waiting 30mins to 60mins for a reply with no guidance and instruction at all.
We were kinda stuck and 2 days later Agoda came back saying that they would offer me a few bucks as a compensation! What a “great” way to “support” a Platinum member

I like the room which was clean and comfortable. The breakfast for €10 was ok. A toaster would've been nice and some fresh fruit. The only bad thing for me was the shower was a bit small and the pillows were too chunky.

Really good location- walking distance to old town, very close public transport and even to Marseille bus station was walking distance. And nice size room and kitchen. Only thing I don’t like reception wasn’t friendly we have breakfast all table was dirty dishes some food was empty he wasn’t very tension. Few things question about check out where do I need dumb? He was friendly answer. Other wise I like this place

* very unprofessional and unfriendly hotel receptionist
