    Stayed one night, room was big, clean and had everything we needed. Hairdryer, toiletries, tea coffee and delicious biscuits. Bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the cooked breakfast for the buffet. The hotel is opposite Waverley Station and 5 mins from the bus station. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely book again if visiting Edinburgh.

    Clean and spacious. Steps up from main entrance to reception. 2 steps up from reception to lift landing. Steps from room door to room. Location is central.

    Extremely difficult if you have heavy luggage. No lift and no help to bring it up to the lobby or down to the ground level. Only one small lift to the rooms from the lobby level. On one occasion we had to wait for two turns before we could get on. It is likely we were fortunate we did not stay the weekend even though we had booked for the weekend. We had also asked for help to repair the shower head which did not stay up and we had to hold it with our hand to bathe. There was no water supply in the room. But we had the option of getting water at the bar, an inconvenient arrangement. Also, very early check-out at 11.00am and extremely calculative for late check-out at £20 per hour.
