There are not many places to stay on this part of the NC500 route and we were pleased to enjoy one night at the Northern Sands. Exceptionally clean and updated rooms and a delicious and affordable dinner / breakfast. Dunnet Bay beach is a short walk away and well worth it. The hotel is also a short drive to Dunnet Head and the lighthouse. The staff was lovely and helpful. Hope to be back one day.
