Customer service was superb! Staff were very friendly and accommodating. I had a quiet enjoyable stay while exploring Calaveras Big Trees state park. . The room was spacious and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed 2 nights at the Murphys Inn. This was our 2nd time staying here. It was a great value for the price we paid. The hotel was clean, staff was fine, location was great for the short walk to town with a great cafe across the parking lot. Grocery store was just a few minutes walk from the trail at the back of the parking lot. It's not a high end hotel, but very comfortable. The only issue is the low Wi-Fi signal, but it is a mountain town so that can be expected.
