Main reason for my complaint is that I was not notified when I booked this hotel that the swimming pool is under construction and you cannot sit around the pool and there’s a lot of noise and it’s very ugly.

I was looking for a beachfront California resort that felt like Hawaii and Montage hit the nail on the head. Great service from the pool to the valet and great beaches steps from the resort. Goff cove beach is a must if you have little kids which is down the path to the right of the resort. The onsite restaurants are a bit pricey but that’s par for the course. 10/10 would recommend.
