    A lovely classic style local. Any attempt to modernise this historic building would detract from the experience. It is like staying in a stately home with antique furniture aplenty. Housekeeping and cleanliness is fine but difficulties can be observed due to size and fabric of the rooms. Our room overlooked the canal and had two tall double windows to open on a fine day. We could sit by the windows and enjoy interesting views. Breakfast was served in a lovely period room and was a good choice of a hot and cold buffet.

    This hotel was so wonderful! It was the perfect location within walking distance to to everything but just outside all of the hustle so it was quiet. The decor was beautiful and the air conditioning was so nice to have in the room! We moved here from a really bad apartment we rented through huswell. They got us in very last minute and we were super pleased to be here for the remainder of our trip 😊 Highly recommend!
