    we had to take the funiculaire to get to the hotel which is my choice,it is just behind the station. the manager(owner?)and staff is very accomodating, i did not like much the breakfast which is included to the room rate

    I want start with the owner , he is a very nice and friendly guy. Unfortunately the whole are is overpriced by at least 30-50%. I have been to 8 hotels that week, all of them ranging ***-***€, all of them had A/C, rich breakfast, dedicated parking - even the one next to Monaco (***€). So for the price and especially the price on the hotels web (~***€) that is a nonsense to me. This accommodation without A/C and with basic equipment is worth **-**€ MAX.
