This place is centrally located with a lot of foot traffic. The hotel doesn't have a reception and is run by the same people that run the restaurant attached to the hotel. In the room, on the door and the book there's advertisement for 25% off breakfast if you're staying in the hotel. Breakfast is served between 10-12 every morning. On the departure day, at 11AM and I have my mind set on Eggs Benedict and also check out from hotel. I went to the restaurant and its completely empty....no customers.... no staff....after 10 minutes waiting I left the keys on the bar and went to eat somewhere else....

Nice little hotel for a 2 night stay overlooking river Ouse. The stairs however to get to the room are numerous and steep. Room was adequate however could have had a kettle and tea and coffee supplies.

Website photos very misleading. Our room was definitely NOT like any of the photos. The room was grimy and tatty. At 3am we had to take the mattress off of the bed and put it on the floor as the slats on the bed were broken and didn't fit the frame properly. The bathroom door was hanging off its hinges. The noise outside didn't stop until around 4am. The 2 sets of very steep and narrow stairs up to the rooms were dreadful and in my opinion dangerous! Totally over priced. Don't waste your money. Avoid this place!!
