    It’s cheap and convenient, but the breakfast was not tasty at all, only edible. And the staff, there was a time my card couldn’t open the door and I asked the reception to check it for me. There was a family about to check in, we arrived almost at the same time, while they were finding their passports, I told the staff my situation, but she wouldn’t even look at me and told me to step away, she’s gonna help them check in first. Although she was very aware that their check-in took 5 minutes and she only needed 10 seconds to renew my card, she refused to do that and let me waited there for 5 minutes because of their fault. Very unpleasant. And I’m not cutting in line because they were still finding their passports, the whole check-in procedure hasn’t started yet, the lady was standing there doing nothing, but told me to step away. If you really hated tourists that much, please do not work in hotels.

    Short walk to the city center and Luzern station. Very easy to go around city, everything walkable. Small rooms but very clean and well appointed.

    Definitely reasonable price point for Switzerland. Location is very convenient and I what I loved the most, about a 5-10min walk to train station, very doable. Just a short walk brings you to nice view of lake lucern with alpine background, can have a stroll there. Near old town shopping area which allows you to shop whether for souvenirs or groceries. Room size is acceptable but bathroom space is abit tight for tall or plus sized individuals (for context I am 183cm 100kg, can't extend my arms fully, but amenities are there, just need to get own toothbrush/toothpaste. Do consider Breakfast package if available, I think is valuable compared to getting own breakfast at cafes/restaurants. The spread is limited but overall, is enough to have a fulfilling breakfast. Staffs are friendly too.
