    hotel is clean and updated, everything is spiffy and works. on the level of a hyatt place. i can see the harbor and morro rock from my balcony. i booked the basic room called a "petit queen", but it's not small, it's decent sized. only downside is there's no microwave in the room, but there's one by the first floor elevator. it's very quiet here, maybe because it's winter (feb). walking distance to some bars and shops. i'll be back!

    Due to the online reviews I was expecting a run down hotel, this was a very nice surprise. The parking is free, the staff is both friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and modern looking, and the town is beautiful. The ice machine doesn't look inviting and the vending machine was empty but other than that it was one of my favorite hotel stays and I plan to return.

    No black out curtains, no remote control help in the room, no microwave (should have checked before booking), bathroom no toilet paper holder, no hook on bathroom door (looked like it had been ripped out).
