Friendly helpful staff. We renewed our stay in our room in the lower floor and had it cleaned, we were also given towels. The room heater remained v high and nobody seemed able to reduce it so we ended up with windows open most of the time when we were in the room. The bedding was clean. There was a TV in the room though we didn’t use it. The shower and toilet were nearby and were very clean; we didn’t appear to share them with many people . The shower had great water pressure and there was lots of hot water; a welcome surprise. With the arrival of new people in the hostel, our current room became noisy at night as people congregated outside our window to smoke. We moved to a top floor room which was a v quiet bunk bed room, cooler but adequate for our needs. In total we spent a week at the hostel; as we were out most of every day it served our needs.

We prolonged our stay by an extra3 days. The room which was initially quiet dusty and dilapidated got a good clean and we got towels. The shared shower and toilet just next door seems hardly used by others and is extremely clean . The shower also has lots of lovely hot water. There is a sink in the room and a TV ( which we haven’t used) and good wifi. The noise level isn’t too bad for a hostel and the staff are polite and helpful. I haven’t really used the kitchen facilities which look basic but adequate. The heating is v hot necessitating opening the window whilst in the room! A fair room for the price.

Friendly, communicatives staff. Good location for us and quieter than expected. The room however could do with a good clean as sink was filthy and the room dusty and dilapidated. However the sheets seemed clean 😆! The heating was extremely high and necessitated us keeping the window open whilst in the room as there wasn’t a way of reducing it! The wifi was excellent. + and - ‘s ; I guess you get what you pay for!
