it is just crazy to have such a nice place to stay for this price. Very quiet and very balinese place. Totally recommend.

Giri Krisna was amazing!The host is really lovely and ever helpful.The place is quiet and serene.I would have prolonged my stay except the place was far from my retreat and traffic coming into Ubud was quite heavy!

I thought the building was gated and didn't know that it was inside a compound. You will actually live with the locals inside. When I made the booking, I thought the property has a pool only to find out they used an image from a different hotel. I asked Agoda for refund but since I paid for a lower price with a non refundable clause, they couldn't refund what I paid. They advise to go through the property owner. I didnt bother to ask the owner as I was responded in email in Balinese. Thought it would still be okay without the pool given the low price. On our first night, the electricity went off again. No generator back up but we were all given flashlights to use. We had mosquito bites when we had to open the door to let the air in. Bed is spacious, the toilet/shower need an upgrade. The veranda was nice for a cup of coffee in the morning and hang your wet clothes by the chair as it's the back of the property. They also provide umbrella for guests to use. They let us put our drinks into their fridge which is located at the owner's property. Since it rained on our second day, we decided to cancel our plans and stay in the property. Oh boy, there wasnt a proper restaurant nearby and had to order via Gojek app and it arrived almost an hour. One time it arrived 2hrs after ordering, app citing due to traffic and weather conditions. If I had to do it all over again, I'd stay less in Ubud and definitely stay where there's a lot of options for resto. Some of the locations are not too far (could reach in 20-30min) but because the traffic sucks, it would take at least almost an hour to reach. A traveller or 2 who'll use a motorbike will benefit in here for a low price. But for family, I definitely would have stayed in a villa or something near Ubud center.
