Sridewi Villas Ubud

Sridewi Villas Ubud is a little oasis just far enough away from the hustle & bustle of Ubud. It’s still close enough to get to by car or motorcycle to see the sights. There are lovely restaurants within short walking distance & they will give you a discount if you mention where you are staying. The staff are so accomodating and friendly. Cars cannot drive directly to the accomodation but there is a drop zone & staff will collect you in a golf buggy. If you need anything just ask and they will go out of their way to help. They even decorated our bed for our arrival on our anniversary. It was a nice touch.

Good value for money, friendly staff. The Villa is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, hence it's very peaceful and serene. Comfortable bed and pool, though I found the pool slightly dirty with algae floating around. Nevertheless, it's great value for money for my 4 nights stay. Beautiful view in the morning, though it's extremely dark at night but safe. Being a solo female traveller, I did not face any uncomfortable situations or difficulties. Staff were able to assist me whenever possible. The location of the villa is not accessible for cars to enter. Only able to reach the villas via motorbike, however buggy service is available upon request. At times, staff are able to ride you out via a bike. Only if you're able to catch them in time. If they are unavailable, then you would need to make your way out on your own by Grab Bike. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my stay and had a unique experience at the Villa.

The surrounding area is very quiet, which we liked.

Unfortunately, everything looked much nicer in the photos than it was in reality. The entire villa needs an upgrade (especially the bathroom). We were sadly disappointed when we arrived and asked the owner for a refund for the remaining nights, but he refused. Since the money had already been paid, we decided to stay. It’s worth mentioning that you cannot access the villa by car, but thankfully the staff took us by buggy from the drop-off point (they are happy to drop you off and pick you up when needed). However, on a few occasions, no one responded when we needed them. Also, I am not sure what was put in the pool, but my wife’s white bikini turned green after swimming in it. In the booking description, it was mentioned that the villa provides daily housekeeping. However, after two days without anyone coming to take out the trash, we had to ask the staff personally to come and clean the room (even though we put a sign on the villa door requesting it, which the staff probably did not check).

The staff were really friendly and the location was great!
