Great location, easy to get around

Booked this hotel with Agoda, which I have used several times in the past without incidence. After checking out I received a receipt online for charges related to a “Destination Fee” of 25.00 and its subsequent room sales and occupational taxes. They said it was a mandatory fee and could not be refunded. I informed them I will be addressing the matter with Agoda but to add extra “fees” to a room I had already paid taxes and fees was just bad business, especially in this economy, and shame on them. The facility itself was good. Our suite was clean and accommodating. The staff was friendly, though not as informative as I would have liked at check in. We were informed there was 25.00 we could use for food/drinks in their facility but of course I was not made aware I was charged it. 🙄 The location is excellent as it is right downtown and a couple of blocks over from Broadway and Bridgestone Arena. Parking is primarily valet at 65.00 billed to your room, also not made aware of until we got there, but we usually valet anyway. There is public parking around but unsure of pricing for any length of time. I would have normally given this place higher marks but due to the extra fees and taxes, with their lack of sympathy and understanding, I have rated them as I have.

This hotel is perfectly situated for all the attractions in downtown Nashville. Most everything is within walking distance. Breakfast is excellent. Only complaint would be the high price of parking considering the room itself was over $500 a night.
