Loved this place easy to get to local towns and villages. Peaceful . Absolutely wonderful owner and staff good food nothing too much trouble beautiful comfy rooms will definitely be back . Great weekend stay .

My wife and I stayed for one night. Check-in very quick and easy. The room fully equipped, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The evening meals are typical pub fayre, but good quality and large portions, and the breakfast was excellent, enough to set us up for the day.
The staff were ever so friendly, helpful and professional.
The property is so handy for the Himalayan Gardens, Ripon, Harrogate, RHS Harlow Carr, and many other attractions.
Would we recommend Chequers Inn, most definitely.

Stayed at The Chequers for a few days or our Wedding Anniversary and to explore North Yorkshire. We were never disappointed. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the rooms were very clean & comfortable a day the food was outstanding. Will definitely be returning & would highly recommend The Chequers
