While this historic landmark has undeniable beauty, it is unfortunately plagued by neglect, resulting in unsafe conditions. Our room had damp, musty-smelling carpet and the bathroom infested with mold. The television did not work, and a porch column was precariously close to falling. Attempts to seek help were met with silence, as there was no staff on-site or available by phone, and no daily housekeeping. On our final day, we sought the help of a maintenance worker who after nearly an hour of troubleshooting was able to resolve the TV issue, which turned out to be a faulty DirecTV receiver. The cost of our stay was exorbitant compared to the value provided. Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing, and I cannot recommend staying here.

OVERPRICED!!! No way to get in touch with desk especially night time. Roosters started crowing at 0100 and never stopped until morning. everything virtual including access. Pool was supposed to be heated and was freezing because they had a problem. No breakfast included. Overpriced coffee. I would have rather stayed mat the Hyatt.
