About this cottage rental
This amazing cottage nestled in the woods features all the comforts of home in the middle of paradise. Located with direct access to Lake Cowan this cottage is also within walking distance to the main south beach, hiking trails, great fishing holes and numerous picnic pavilions. As for taking in the local activities the Cowan Sailing club, Cowan State Park and World Equestrian Center are all located less than 5 minutes drive.
This Cottage sleeps 6 comfortably with 1 queen size bed located in a private bedroom, Queen Murphy bed located in the great room in addition to a loft accessed by ladder to a Queen bed. All the comforts of home can be found here with large walk in ceramic tile shower, full size kitchen with granite counters, full size appliances, dining area for 6-8 people, washer/dryer on site. WIFI and streaming service provided.
Outdoors features large 12' x 24' deck facing the lake, large side patio off master bedroom, fire pit, outdoor grill and of course nature up close and personal.

Cabin is perfect, very close to WEC. Has everything you need. It was too cold to enjoy the deck but it was very inviting. We will try to stay here the next trip up also.

Beautiful setting over looking the lake . We enjoyed walking our dogs down the lane and birding on the deck. Steve saw an eagle. Nice little town for quick errands nearby.

We were visiting for a performance at the Murphy Theater. The location was so very relaxing and in such a serene and beautiful area. The drive back the lane to get to the cabin was a gravel road. Check in was simple and seamless. There were two other cabins in the vicinity of ours, but you had the total illusion of being out there by yourself. The position of our cabin compared to the others was staggered, so while on the back deck, you can barely see part of the deck on the cabin next door. The cabin was stocked with everything you would need: dishes, pots pans, flatware, a crockpot, dish soap, hand towels, paper, towel, towels, and a dishwashrer. There was laundry soap, fabric softener sheets, towels, wash cloths, extra blankets, pillows, even split wood and lighters for the fire pit, as well as batteries for the flameless candles. There was a path that lead down to Cowan Lake from the cabin. Tom and Susan were extremely responsive to any questions that I had. I loved it! We even extended our stay by two days, and they were extremely accommodating. We will definitely return!

I texted susan's number on wednesday morning to inform you we saw a mouse late tuesday. We had to put our food out in the car. I also asked if we could have an early checkout wednesday because none of us could sleep thinking where the mouse might be. Never heard back.
