The Skye Photo Centre is an absolute gem! Located in a tranquil little bay close to Portree, it's the perfect spot to explore the area/the Isle of Skye. The room was lovingly furnished and there's a comfy guest area with cutlery, plates and a small fridge for any groceries you might have. If the weather permits, there's a large patio with a perfect view over the bay that you can use.
Iain's breakfasts are unmatched! Being the charming and modest man that he is, he says they're "simple stuff". But he has made an art of his selection! There's plenty of vegetarian options as well as fruit, cereals, milk and yoghurt, so everyone will find their fit.
If you find the time, walk the hill path that starts just next to the front door, it will give you a great view over the area and it's not a very difficult hike.

OMG !!!!!! What a experience
The bedroom was cozy the bed was so comfortable❤️ the retreat room where you have your meals was comfortable and inviting as well.
You can put your feet up and enjoy the amazing views of the huge sun deck you couldn’t imagined the beauty this place has until you experience it yourself.
Iain and Jacky you couldn’t have meat the amazing hosts they made you feel so much like it’s your own home.
The breakfast was delicious and plenty to choose from 10/10❤️

Our three days in Skye have been such a dream thanks to Iain's beautiful home and his warm welcome. The place is simply stunning (and so tasteful!), the best you can hope if you're looking for an ideal location to visit all the highlights in Skye, with all possible comforts - so much privacy, a breathtaking view, plenty of relax, delicious breakfast, super comfy rooms. Iain makes sure you feel at home and truly takes care of you. The attention to detail is incredible and simply heartwarming (I will always cherish the welcome card), from the treats in the room to the responsiveness of the hosts in case of need. We're so grateful for the time spent there, and no less that we got to know Iain and Jacky, such lovely and kind hosts. I would love to go back again sometime. Thank you for everything!
