A lovely barn conversion nestled near the market town of Kirkbymoorside in Yorkshire and sleeps two people in one bedroom.

Rose Cottage is a pretty, converted barn resting on a working farm which sits close to Kirkbymoorside. It plays host to one twin bedroom and it can sleep two people. Inside is also an open-plan living area including a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with an open fire. Outside, you will find plenty of off-road parking and pleasant views overlooking the countryside. Rose Cottage is a cosy retreat, perfect for couples looking to explore the awe of Yorkshire.

Amenities: Oil central heating with open fire. Electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, TV with Freeview. Wi-Fi. Fuel, power and starter pack for fire/stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Ample off-road parking. One well-behaved dog welcome only. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 3.5 miles.
The owner will only take 7 night bookings from the 1st March for 6 weeks

Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Town: The attractive old market town of Kirkbymoorside lies on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, in between the towns of Helmsley and Pickering. It is a charming place, full of Yorkshire character, and is the centre for the local farms and villages. Visitors will find a variety of shops from tea rooms, pubs and restaurants to antique shops, while there is a market day on Wednesday. The excellent walking and magnificent scenery of the National Park are close by, as are the picturesque villages of Hutton-le-Hole and Lastingham. Pickering is the base of the North York Moors Steam Railway - a ‘must do’ day out for all visitors to the area. Castle Howard, York, Whitby and the Yorkshire Coast are within easy driving distance.
