Je to specifické ubytování uprostřed starého města, kde na Vás všude vykukuje historie. Parkovat zde není možné, ale 10 min pěšky za hradbami ok. Ubytování má 3 velké postele, ale dvě jsou vlastně nad sebou ve společné místnosti. Plus obtížný výstup na horní patro pro spaní. Nádherná terasa, ale pro osoby se sníženou pohyblivostí bude asi nedostupná. Ubytování je v 1. patře, čisté, hezké, wifi ok. V okolí restaurace a bary, ale na spaní je klid. Na centrálním náměstí jste za 5 min. Město Rhodos je opravdu kouzelné :-) dobrá komunikace s majitelem, klíče předala osobně paní i o něco dříve, než byl check-in, děkujeme.
Pro celkem 6 osob malá toaleta s koupelnou. Obtížné / nemožné zavírání dveří od pokojů. Stále chodíte někde po schodech v ubytování :-)

De locatie was heel erg fijn en de airco was helemaal top! De prijs kwaliteit klopt ook helemaal en de bedden sliepen goed.
Het beddengoed is wat minder hygiënisch door alle spreien.

This is probably one of the best, if not the best, accommodation I've ever stayed in. The apartment was wonderful and had everything we needed for our stay. There were only two of us and so we had a bedroom each, which were huge, spacious and very comfortable. They were furnished beautifully, as was the rest of the apartment.
The kitchen had everything we needed for self-catering, and more. A lot of thought had clearly gone into what to provide and there was a coffee machine, juicer, toastie/ panini maker and so much more. Even ice cube trays in the freezer. When we arrived, we were gifted a huge bowl of fruit, a bottle of wine, water and some crackers and rusks and so we didn't have to struggle for food and drink as we arrived in the evening.
The roof terrace was beautiful, with views of the castle and the old town and chairs, loungers, shade and sunshine. It was so lovely to sit up there in the day time and in the evening and such a wonderful addition to the apartment.
The area was perfect for us, right in the heart of the old town, with fantastic restaurants and bars nearby (would recommend Hamam Cafe round the corner) and not too far to walk to the beach and the bus station. Small supermarket just around the corner.
We had some trouble finding the accommodation as our airport taxi dropped us off outside the old town walls and we had to follow Google Maps directions in the dark, which took us to the square nearby, but we couldn't find the house. We asked nearby restaurant staff for help and eventually phoned the owner via a restaurant owner and we were directed to the right house and someone was there to meet us and show us around the apartment. The accommodation is basically round the back of the Romios Restaurant with the front door on Egeos Street, not Sofokleous.
We also had a problem in one of the bedrooms, the one nearest the bathroom, as the door to the room is attached to the wardrobe via a hook and chain (to keep the door open). When I went to bed, I closed the door, not realising it was attached to the wardrobe and it accidentally pulled the wardrobe down! Luckily I managed to catch it before it fell to the floor, but just be aware of this before anyone else makes the same mistake :)
