Firstly, we made the booking when there was a lot of uncertainty over Covid and thus we were in regular correspondence with the owner, whose replies were always prompt, courteous and informative. So now the review - The appartment is, as per the specifications, more than equipped with everything you need for your stay with the exception of the bed-linen (which is clearly stated that you need to bring). With a modern fridge (with freezer compartment), oven/hob, washing machine and dishwasher you can't go wrong. TV and sound system are also tops. The WC and bathroom are fully up to standard - especially the shower, which is exactly how my wife wants to renovate one of ours at home, so now I have practical experience of what she is planning. In theory 'Seadream' can sleep 7. One bedroom has a double-bed, the second a triple bunk-bed combo, and there is sofabed in the main room. As our three kids are 2.05m, 1.95m and 1.80m we brought an inflatable bed with us for safety's sake which meant that we didn't need to use the sofabed, and gave us the advantage of giving our sons a room of their own whilst our daughter claimed the living room. Externally there are two balconies which do catch the sun - obviously this year the weather has been more than unpredictable, but all the same we did manage some time out there with a book and cold drink. Outside there is limited off-road free parking (one of which is for disabled drivers) which is a bit of a lottery, but you have to appreciate that one for every appartment would simply be impossible to provide. The owner does have an underground garage which can be rented. The appartment is 5 mins from the best part of the local beach and 10-15 mins from the whole of Nieuwpoort Bad. Finally, a word of praise for the concierge M.Deschepper - Whenever we needed anythng he was always there smiling and friendly within minutes.
