I loved everything about this hotel. The friendliness of the owners and staff, the situation of the hotel in the town, food was wonderful, accommodation was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The beautiful beer garden was an extra bonus.

Excellent choice at breakfast, very friendly staff. On street car parking, we got spaces closer than many hotel car parks

Friendly staff, good breakfast, quiet location. Decent pub food in the hotel, but other options within a short walk. Ballater is very pretty.
