It’s a beautiful, historic property about 5 minutes walk from the town centre.
Despite its size, the house remained cozy on the cooler days/evenings. Our bed was extremely comfortable and the showers worked well.
The kitchen was very well equipped.
Parking was a breeze once we worked out the restrictions: we could park outside the house in the evenings, and if we were about during the day, we used the public car park a 5 minute walk down the hill for a small fee.
Not much at all! We enjoy visiting Tavistock and it was lovely to stay in a central location.

It's in an excellent position in Tavistock, only a short walk from the Town Centre. Parking is not provided but with the hosts help we were able to park close to the house most of the weekend. Lots of space, numerous bathrooms, generous toiletries and a cream tea left for us on arrival.
A few maintenance issues needed addressing and it is definitely shabby chic. Overall, a positive stay.
