The location is excellent—just across the road from the Tyrrhenian Sea. To the left, there is a beautiful view of the old borgo with the Aragonese Castle on top, and to the right, a pleasant promenade lined with palm trees and benches leading toward the Tower of San Marco.
There is a restaurant-pizzeria next door, and within a short walking distance you’ll find a variety of Italian eateries, typical fried fish taverns, and ice cream places for every taste. The train station is about a 15-minute walk away, and a supermarket is only 7 minutes away. The archaeological site of Paestum is also very convenient—just a 10 minute train ride.
The accommodation is clean, modern, and equipped with a smart home system. Simona is a wonderful host—kind, accommodating, and very responsive. I was allowed a late check-out as my train was at 14 pm and Francesca, who collected the keys, kindly gave me a lift to the station.
I truly felt at home and would definitely stay at “Break for Two” again.

Great location. Breakfast acceptable.
Communication difficult as no one at the location. Everything handled remotely which made it very difficult in Italy as our N American phone wouldn’t work in Italy.
Lots of trouble adjusting heating/A/C unit.
