Château Saint Roux Le Luc-Le Cannet des Maures

The hotel’s location is excellent in many ways — it feels secluded and peaceful, with plenty of space to relax. The mini farm and the playground for kids are lovely touches that make it especially family-friendly. However, the proximity to a helipad was a downside. During our stay, there were frequent helicopter flights over three days, which became quite disruptive. The staff from the restaurant was lovely, kind and attentive. Special thanks to Martin, he is an excellent waiter!

The noise from the nearby helipad was a significant issue during our stay. We got headaches after 12h of nonstop noise. Additionally, for a hotel at this price level, it is disappointing that daily room cleaning is only provided upon request. After two days, we asked to have our apartment cleaned and fresh towels provided. However, the situation was handled very poorly. The receptionist called us two hours later to inform us that our 5-year-old son had accidentally closed the door when the cleaning staff came. By the time we were notified, the cleaning staff had already left, and no cleaning could be arranged anymore. I find this completely unacceptable. When I asked why we were not informed immediately so we could resolve the situation, there was no clear answer. Eventually, the room was cleaned and clean towels were provided but only after a discussion took place. We were asked to cancel our already pre booked reservations at the hotel restaurant in due time if we decided to dine out which we did directly with the restaurant. We later got another call from the receptionist to ask again if we would have dinner in the hotel. So very poor communication between the restaurant and the reception.

location, great use of the building and surrounding area, very authentic very good restaurant, excellent service lovely reaction and care towards our dog, supplying a bed and water bowl. fabulous cheese and bread in the shop.

Gorgeous!! The room was spacious and really nicely decorated. The estate is great! So nice to walk around and see the animals, vines, vegetable gardens and bakery. The wine tasting was great too.

not custumer service oriented. very unfriendly and not staff not helpful. we did not feel welcome at all.
