Lovely little gem of a property. So cosy and warm. Close to city centre but it’s still has a village vibe. Kitchen very well stocked. Granddaughter love the games cupboard
The only issue is if someone had mobility issues the stairs are very narrow and on a tight turn.

The location was ideal for us. Our son is at UEA and our daughter had a weeks work experience on Norwich Science park. It was only 20 minutes to the science park in rush hour traffic every morning. The cottage felt homely, warm and comfortable. It was a nice touch to have the coffee pods, a bottle of apple juice and some biscuits. We stop in and around Norwich regularly and would consider Megs cottage as an option in the future.
It took a while to work out how to best approach the cottage to park the car and even though we have a small car the parking area was a little tight. The mattress/frame on the double bed sagged to the middle.

What a lovely, homely, oh so welcoming little cottage. It was so genuinely homely and cosy. From the moment we arrived on the driveway, it felt as if the cottage was welcoming us in and encouraging us inside to relax and unwind. Yes the old fashioned staircase was a challenge, but you know what, it didn't seem to matter one bit as we felt so comfortable being there it added to the authentic charm of the place. We felt really safe and looked after. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, firm, but not too firm, also large too with very comfy duvets and blankets for extra added cosiness which was just perfect. I had the best night sleep I'd had in years in the pine double/king size in the back bedroom and morning came far too quickly as I didn't want to have to get up! It was also nice and warm and such a lovely place, by the end of our stay we didn't want to go home. It was also exceptionally clean throughout and the little extras's showed kind thought too thank you and were very much appreciated. And what a great location - literally took us 90 seconds to walk to to the first pub which was a really nice place and then another minute to walk on to the next one where we enjoyed a lovely evening meal and catered for us being GF!! How fantastic! Location was spot on and being adjacent to the garage meant we could get any essentials by simply crossing over the road! We truly relaxed at Megs Cottage which is not something I can say very often when staying away from home. The shower was great and a big bathroom and it was nice to make a meal in the cosy kitchen, it felt like a proper loving home and you could really feel the history. If we are ever in that area again we will certainly be back without any hesitation. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Location is great for the village , pub around the corner does nice meals and there’s a children’s park next door . Nice little cafe and pizza shop a few doors down. Across the road there’s a spar and Greggs within the garage . Handy to access locations we visited the seals , ROARR dinosaur park , and explored Norwich . Cottage was nice and cosy , beds were comfy with plenty of blankets . Everything well equipped inside and easy to find.
Everything was fab , I would say the only negative is that I have a large SUV and struggled with the hedge in the driveway to get the children in and out of their car seats . I think if the hedge was cut back it would make things easier for parking .
