About this house rental
The house is located in the highest part of the historic center of the country and borders the walls of the fortresses of the medieval castle, whose history is lost over many centuries until the late Middle Ages. Completely protected to the north, it enjoys sun exposure from dawn to dusk, thus offering an exceptional microclimate for most of the year: very mild winters and cool, breezy summers.
It has a large terrace, partly covered by a porch, overlooking the Nera valley.
The approximately 70 meters of elevation from the bed of the river Nera, as well as offering a breathtaking view overlooking the valley below, allows you to wander to the east on the Monte della Dormiente, south for several kilometers on the Valnerina to the villages of Castel di Lago and Montefranco ; at WEST, where the sun sets, the picturesque village of San Mamiliano.
The site, thanks to GPS coordinates, will be easy to get to but much more difficult to leave except with the intention of returning. The house is reborn by renovating the old houses erected just below one of the two fortresses of Ferentillo With fine finishes and furnished with care, they are equipped with all the appliances that serve for a most comfortable stay possible,
enjoys a large common area, outside that comes to touch the walls of the medieval fortresses where, a fireplace, stoves, a sink and the living rooms with tables offer the possibility of quiet barbecue evenings, alone or in a group, in an atmosphere quiet and enjoying a spectacular view.
All services, available for free use, while the consumption generated, both inside, and outside, are borne by travelers.
The type of lease is, the sale of property for short period for tourist use, well-legislated in the Italian Civil Code, to be considered as the regulation of any litigation.
Going up from Via della Rocca the first house of the residence you meet is the Smeraldo.
The same is structured with: a bedroom, a bathroom with shower, a large living room with sofa bed and a large kitchen, a wood stove; at the entrance a portico in chestnut beams and traditional tiles of the places, where you can enjoy a shaded outdoor area, attached there is a large terrace with a splendid view of the Valle del Nera also equipped with table and chairs plus a comfortable outdoor lounge, with umbrellas for the hottest hours, the view is fantastic.
La Perla SPA
La Perla is the small SPA area of our residential complex. A swimming pool, a sauna and a Jacuzzi make this path something that fills the soul with pleasure; a joyful union with the overflowing nature of the Valnerina that surrounds the entire Residence.
After a sauna or a whirlpool, you can also sip wine glass or a cool drink on the comfortable armchairs of our panoramic terrace.

This home is a little peace of heaven.
When we arrived, we parked in the car area, walked up the stone steps through a beautiful arch, and made our way to our apartment. Communication with Paolo was easy, making our arrival delightful. He had a bottle of wine waiting for us as a welcome.
Our apartment had a terrace with a beautiful view of the valley and mountains. The apartment is well appointed with everything you would need for your stay. The bed was comfortable, the ac worked perfectly, but at this time of year, you receive a wonderful breeze where the ac is really not needed. The shower had great pressure and everything was exactly what we needed. A car is recommended because of the road access to the home, but this area lends itself to driving for the scenery. Would love to visit again! Thank you a wonderful stay.

Abbiamo trascorso 15 bellissimi giorni in questa casa. L'alloggio è fornito di tutto il necessario per passare le vacanze comodamente. Il proprietario, Paolo, è sempre stato disponibile e ci ha dato molte informazioni per poter conoscere bene l'Umbria. La casa si trova all'interno di un borgo molto suggestivo. Ideale per famiglie, molto bella la piscina e la zona grill nonché un giardino privato per garantire la sicurezza degli ospiti. Grazie Paolo! A presto
