Apartment was clean, comfortable and pleasantly decorated. It was very handy for the Newcastle Metro and for food shopping. There was no noise from other residents.
Being by a main road, there was traffic noise, so we couldn't open the lounge windows. Although the apartment has most of what we needed, it was strange there was no tea towel when there were adequate bath towels. The tv was ok, but the reception for BBC channels was non-existent. This should be looked into by the owners.

The view and ample parking
TV could do to be updated. Remote wouldn't work, possibly batteries. Everything else was great
