Just back from a two‑night stay in the Owl Barn, and what an absolute treat. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, this place has everything you could possibly need for a short break or a longer stay. The kitchen is fully equipped, the shower room is spotless, and the living room is spacious with a lovely mezzanine bedroom above. A welcome pack was waiting for us too — fresh eggs and homemade bread, such a thoughtful touch that made the stay feel even more special. There’s also a bonus games room/home gym, which just adds to the charm. Honestly can’t fault a single thing about the barn. Our host, Terri, was lovely — she met us on arrival and showed us around, which made everything feel so welcoming. A wee gem in the Yorkshire Dales, and I’d highly recommend it if your travels take you that way.

Spacious, warm and cosy. Everything needed was there and more. All bedrooms have en-suites which is handy. Good location for dog walks and short drives to explore the area.
