We had a wonderful stay at this cute cabin near Yosemite in Pine Mountain Lake! It was perfect for our family. The kids loved the bunk beds, and we loved how close it was to town for quick trips to the grocery store. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The host was super responsive and helpful, even going above and beyond to help with some extra accommodations for us. The setting was peaceful, and one morning we even spotted a wild turkey wandering through the yard, which the kids thought was amazing! We would definitely stay here again.

Cute little cottage! It was a smaller cabin than we are used to staying in but felt like it had everything we needed. I really liked the big windows and back deck with the BBQ. Not updated inside but it was cozy enough for us. The only complaint I have is that there was a musty/unpleasant smell inside that I tried to air out for a couple days to no avail. Owner was quickly responsive to other requests we made. Thanks!

Enjoyed our stay at Pine mountain lake. We were able to walk to the lake and this place had everything we needed. Warren went out of his way to make sure everything was working properly.

We had a few issues during our stay; Warren and his wife were kind and responsive, which we really appreciated. Some of these things were unforeseen so that's just way it goes sometimes. However, the reason I'm giving the property 3 stars overall is because the pictures and description did not match the reality. Firstly, the home is not "renovated". It has a new paint job and some new kitchen appliances, but otherwise, the kitchen and bathrooms are in original, old, basic quality condition. I was not expecting this - maybe I should have zoomed in on the photos more but when I saw the term "renovating", I assumed the property is modern and fresh - it is not. The living room and dining room have new furniture which help it look new and fresh, but the house is mostly in original condition. For example, I am 5 feet tall and could easily touch the showerhead - the bathrooms are very old and not easy to use is you're taller than me. Second, the seemingly professional photos use a wide angle lens that makes the house look much larger than it is. Note the square footage - it is a compact space. Only 1 adult can be in the kitchen at a time; you cannot have the dishwasher and fridge open at the same time bc the space is too tight. This isn't a real need - it's just to demonstrate how tight it is. Lastly, it is not 3 bedrooms. It is 2 bedrooms and a children's loft. This is important to note because the children's room doesn't have a door so all of the noise from the living area travels straight up to where we want the kiddos to be sleeping. Also, one full bath is upstairs in the kids loft and 1 full bath is downstairs in the hallway by the two bedrooms. Many of the things we realized upon arrival may have been sorted out if we had zoomed in on and inspected the photos really closely, but we didn't do that because at quick glance, the pictures looked great. We are also vacation home owners and our philosophy is to "under promise, over deliver" - our rental looks better in the person than in the nice photos. This property does the opposite - it looks much better in photos than in person and therefore may set people up for disappointment. In the end, we made the best of it and and made good memories. Warren and his wife are very kind and are learning the vacation home ropes; we wish them the best on this fun journey.
