Ad Otel is in a funky part of Alsancak. Convenient to the main "plaza" at the harbor. Convenient to Cypress Street, one of the better neighborhood shopping/dining/entertainment areas of Izmir. Direct connection from airport (about 10 stops/30 minutes) via Izrail, and a two- three block walk from Alsancak Gar. Offbeat hole-in-the-wall tasty restaurants, along with clubs, comedy and otherwise. Atolobi (sp?) is an art studio -- pottery, painting, etc -- that occupies the lobby. Owner was helpful with getting my cellphone replaced
Ad Otel has smaller sized rooms which are quite adequate for my individual needs. It won't ever be a Hilton-type stay, and doesn't try to be. But the staff is quite helpful (get your translation software unless you speak Turkish). Given the price, though, it allows your savings to be used for the many tourist sites within a fascinating city.

Le logement est très bien placé. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le petit bar se trouvant dans la rue. Il y a tous ce qu'il faut pour passer une semaine correctement à' Izmir dans ce logement.
Le pommeau de douche fixe était abîmé et pratiquement inutilisable. Dans la cuisine, le meuble bas sous l'évier avait ses portes gondolées et contenait de la moisissure dans les jointures du meubles. Sûrement à cause de coulure d'eau que les personnes précédentes auraient laissé dessus.
Le balcon est petit..

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja- obok metra i stacji kolejowej, w pobliżu wiele przyjemnych kawiarni. Pokój choć malutki, jest ładny, łazienka bardzo ładna.
Słabe oświetlenie- łazienka choć bardzo ładna, jest bardzo słabo oświetlona, nie umożliwia zrobienia makijażu (a w pokoju lustra brak). Brakowało też szklanek/filiżanek- choć w pokoju są czajnik i herbata, nie jak jej zaparzyć.
