Enjoy your stay in one or all of these quaint cabins nestled just seven minutes and under three miles from historic downtown Fredericksburg, with easy access to all local attractions. The property consists of three private cabins, which can be rented together to accommodate up to six people, or booked separately for two.
The cabins are adorned with unique antique accents that make your stay in the Hill Country a rustic experience. They incorporate elements and materials from a local rural schoolhouse as well as a 1900's family barn, along with modern amenities such as 55” flat-screen televisions and king-sized beds. Each cabin also includes a mini fridge, microwave, Keurig coffeemaker, table and WiFi- making your stay feel like a home away from home.
After enjoying your day visiting wineries, shopping on Main Street, sipping on locally produced wines and beer, and dining at one of the many restaurants that offer authentic German and Texas favorites, you can expect to relax on the spacious porch in front of a country view.
Located nearby is the owner's house and bakery, from which The Bakery Haus gets its name. You can expect complete privacy and some homemade treats- making your weekend at The Bakery Haus a truly sweet stay.
Note: Two friendly cats do live on the property, so if you are allergic, we ask that you consider other accommodations.
Things to be aware of:
1. The suite shares a common wall with the sister suite on the property.
2. The suite is approximately 150 feet from Highway 87 South, so you might experience some road noise.
Please Note: You are renting a cabin in the Hill Country which means you may encounter wildlife (Snakes, Deer, Racoons, ETC). Please be aware of your surroundings, and take caution while driving at night. You may also encounter the various bugs, spiders, scorpions and mice that live in the country AND sometimes do make their way inside. All properties do utilize pest control services on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee no pests or bugs will be visible.

After a busy day of visiting the Pacific War museum and tasting beers and wine, the Red Velvet Suite was a perfect place to end the day, sit back, relax, have a glass of wine on the front porch and enjoy the country. The cabin is a bit out way from the main town, but not too much. It was nice to have a "place of our own". The other half of the duplex cabin was rented, but the space is designed to be private for your area. We had a great nights' sleep. The decor is creative and fun. If you don't want to sip your wine out of a Styrofoam cup or a coffee mug, be sure to either bring your travel wine glasses or buy some while wine tasting. Manager of the property is very responsive and check-in/out information is provided in a timely manner. Will always plan to try to stay here when visiting Fredericksburg - since we joined a wine club, we will definitely be back.

Host was very good with communication. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. There were issues with the internet, which was frustrating for a planned night of relaxing/watching movies.
