Nestled on 19 acres of old oaks and stately maples, the newly-constructed Cottage at
Maple Pond offers you the feeling of total privacy—while only a 7-minute drive from
I-77.
New for winter 2025/2026- 4 person barrel sauna.
With 4 bedrooms split between 2 floors and an additional guest cottage available
should you need it, your large group will have plenty of space to unpack, unwind,
and spread out.

Whether it’s Grandpa teaching his teenaged grandson to unhook a fish in 3 seconds

From sunup ‘til sundown, we have a variety of outdoor activities to keep the whole
family entertained.
Whether it’s exploring our nature trails on foot or bike, taking a dip in the hot tub
under the stars, or paddling around the private, 2-acre pond, there’s no limit to
things you can do outside.
AIR HOCKEY, ANYONE?
Should the weather turn sour on you, head inside to the game room that’s sure to
get any teen’s stamp of approval.
Go head-to-head over a game of:

- Nintendo & Playstation games
- Skeeball
- Indoor basketball just like the ones you remember from childhood

If a home cooked meal is in your plans, you’ll appreciate the fully stocked kitchen so
no one will waste time on a last minute grocery trip.

Q: What is there to do around town?
A: We are minutes away from Dover, New Philadelphia, and Ohio’s largest Amish
community. Nearby attractions include:
- Historic Zoar Village, Fort Laurens, and The Ohio and Erie Canal Towpath Trail
- Zoar Village Golf Course
- The Pro Football Hall of Fame (25 min drive to Canton)
Q: What about COVID?
A: We are taking extra precautions to keep our properties disinfected, which
includes the use of disinfectant on all door knobs, light switches, railings, faucet
handles, etc—in addition to all high-use areas.
Q: What about the guest cabin?
A: For groups larger than 14, the separate guest Cabin (sleeps 6) is available for an
additional nightly cost ($200/night). It comes with all the amenities:
- Large living room and fully stocked, eat-in kitchen
- Clothes washer & dryer
- Dishwasher
- Brand new electric AC and furnace
- Well water (though it’s perfectly fine to drink, it may have a different smell/taste
than you’d expect if you’re used to City Water)
- Located on the water
Q: Is it pet friendly?
A: Well behaved pets are welcome with well behaved owners. Pets do need to be
pre-approved and there is an additional $100/per pet fee.

From the house to the property to the host, everything was excellent. Rose has put in so many different little touches that makes your stay at her property absolutely unforgettable, it is difficult to mention them all. The house was very clean, extremely well appointed and probably the best vacation rental property we've stayed in. If you are hesitating booking this property, stop hesitating and book. You won't regret it!

We had a great experience and would definitely return. Our kids had a great time fishing in the pond and riding in the canoe.
Everything provided by the owners was so helpful and thoughtful.
The owners were so thoughtful in all the special things they proved for the kids and adults.
The zipline and tree swing were big hits the kids and adults!

We used the house as a retreat for our Youth Group. Our experience was amazing. The amenities were endless from canoes, kayaks, floats, life jackets, fishing rods along with bait. The pond was beautiful with a blue tint and a an aeration system.The kids spent countless hrs. in the game room. We had our worship and devotion by the fire pit at night. The kitchen was well equipped and beds were made upon our arrival. We were surprised at check out with a special gift from Rose. She even provided us with a kit for making s’mores. I can not emphasize enough how pleased we were and would recommend this for families that include all ages.

I can’t say enough good about the Cottage on Maple Pond. It was wonderful. Our whole family enjoyed our time there. Our sons and grandsons fished from dawn to dusk. They loved it. Everything was perfect. Rose thought of everything down to the last detail. I never stayed at a place that supplied so much. We all can’t wait to come back.
