Sunways

We spent Christmas and New year! 2026 at Sunways and loved every minute of it. We like the fact that we can access the property independently and can breathe after a long journey without having to be social :). The Property is a fantastic base for many Cornwall-based adventures, and we always feel at home. The open fire is a bonus on the wintry nights. Tessa is always very helpful, a fabulous Host at hand if needed, but otherwise we can just relax! We booked for New year to spend New years eve in Padstow as the previous year they had a firework display and events on but sadly that didn't happen this year so we spent New Years Eve in Looe which was absolutely fantastic!!! We also visited the Xmas lights at the Eden Project, Tintagel, Port Isaac- Seaview farm shop was lovely for a spot of lunch, Charlestown and Mevigissey, Cardinham woods (we visited Mousehole Christmas lights the year before) and even did our favourite hike up to St Nectans Glenn on Christmas eve, to name just a few of our adventures!!! Our dog loves the garden and beachy walks and all the places we visited were dog friendly- you can even hire a little doggy cart for your elderly pups on a daily basis from Padstow if needed for those bigger walks. Sad that we missed the boat on being able to book again for Christmas this year but we just weren't quick enough!! Amazing place to stay and enjoy some R&R, Thank you Tessa for allowing us to stay at your property :)

Lack of cleanliness. Lots of cobwebs & I found rolls of dust behind a bedside cabinet when looking for the tiny hearing battery I'd dropped. Oven trays in kitchen were sticky with old fat & needed a good clean before use. Plants & weeds at edge of driveway set car sensors off & made parking difficult
