We've stayed at Wass-Happen-Inn 4 times now and it's never disappointed us! It has plenty of room, tasteful and modern decor, and the best location in Beachwalk. We plan to keep coming back year after year as long as we can! Our reservation for next June is already set!

The House is recently updated and offered many conveniences. We loved the open kitchen layout and the screened in space behind the kitchen. Sitting outside with a cup of coffee each morning was priceless. I was pretty disappointed with the overall cleanliness of the house. The bathrooms were dirty enough that we went to the store and purchased cleaning supplies to clean two of them. One was bad enough we just closed the door and did not use it. The fridge was dirty and the house could overall use a deep cleaning. Overall though, we enjoyed the house and our stay!

Stayed here with 2 families of 4; 4 adults, 4 children aged 6-10. House was very clean upon arrival with bath towels ready to go. House is located adjacent to a neighborhood accessible dock. Parking available for 2 cars, and the golf cart included was a cool plus.
House layout was great for us, easy set up for 2 kids in 1 room, 2 kids in another. Master type bedroom upstairs, Jack n Jill type set up downstairs where a pair of adults can share a full bathroom with the bunk bed room.
View of the pond was awesome, with a small private backyard of sand the kids loved to play in. Also has a fire pit that was fine.
We ran into an issue with the thermostat in this house. 2 nights in a row woke up and the upstairs was 88 degrees and the heat was still running. For some reason there is a thermostat upstairs and a thermostat downstairs, both controlling the whole unit. There is some sort of logic I couldn’t figure out, even after taking maintenance advice after the first night to prevent it from happening again. I was beyond frustrated, as we had 4 children trying to sleep when it was 88 degrees in the house .. 2 nights in a row.
Won’t be renting this place again, and highly recommend for the rental agency to fix the thermostat issue. It shouldn’t take instructions or a learning curve to understand how to regulate the temperature.
