About this apartment rental
Casa VERA, once horse stable of the antique palace belonged to Lord Guinigi (1400s) now it has been converted into a homey apartment with a private fenced garden. The renovation was done to highest standards making up 2 comfortable bedrooms (both with king size beds), 2 bathrooms both with grand built-in showers, AIR CONDITIONING, WIFI, a private fenced garden furnished with table and chairs and a little sofa, any kind of kitchen appliance and utensils.
The apartment has double entrance, one from the garden and one from the street. It is composed of: a spacious living area with living room, a fully equipped kitchen with dining room, 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a LAUNDRY ROOM fully equipped with washer/dryer, iron and board.
The apartment is sun exposed all day which makes it very bright all day, this is a very rare thing in Italy!
The location is the quietest and the nicest, overlooking the gardens from where the lovely chirping of birds comes.
The apartment is suggested for 2 couple of friends travelling together as the bedrooms and bathrooms organization provide privacy for everyone. It is will be perfect for 2 friends who do not want to share the same bedroom and same bathroom as well as for a family of 4.
LAYOUT:
The apartment is on the ground floor.
Entrance; sitting-room; dining room and fully equipped kitchen; bathroom (shower); double bedroom; furnished courtyard; laundry room; master bedroom with ensuite bathroom (shower).
The apartment is located within the ztl area (accessible by residents only) and does not offer parking.
The guest can park at the Parking in Piazza Santa Maria prior reaching the apartment. By following the road sign you will be able to avoid the ztl area. A free parking is available outside the city walls by the Piazzale Don Baroni.
We kindly inform all guests that the rented apartments/villas are self catering thus personal services of a hotel nature are excluded by law (reception, surveillance of the accommodation, provision of meals and drinks, daily cleaning and linen changes, transfers).
For such reason any additional service will be provided on request and with the collaboration of external qualified partners and charged accordingly.

Tourist tax (mandatory and required by local municipality)
Midstay and/or weekly cleaning and change of towels and linens

I loved my stay in Lucca and this property was amazing. From the kitchen window I could see people walking on the wall and steps to get on the wall was just across the road. Having the private garden was great for morning coffee and a glass of wine in the evening. It is very quiet in the garden with birds singing and music coming from ,I think, the Music Institue. I also heard church bells, it was wonderfully relaxing. Having a washer/drying machine was very convenient and the bedrooms in the back by the garden were very quiet. Would highly recommend this propery.

The property was exactly as advertised, and in a good location in Lucca. It was on a fairly busy street during the day, but very quiet at night. Loved the front bedroom, with the French doors to patio. A little inconvenient with the bathroom off the hallway, but the 2nd bedroom had an en-suite bath and both bathrooms were very modern . Delightful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay in Lucca. Very close to bike rentals, main amphitheater area (lots of restaurants) and main shopping area. Every is basically a short walk within the walls.
