Colleen is an amazing host. She takes care of all her guests and has created such a lovely atmosphere here, providing recommendations to make sure everyone knows where to go to have the best time in Bled. Kitchen facilities are very nice and highly functional. Comfortable beds.

Brilliant staff, good location
Both rooms and common areas are quite small. I did find people to hang out with in the kitchen and on the balcony, but they are both very small, and in the middle of people cooking, so not ideal for hanging out (which is one of the main things for me in hostels).

Colleen, the owner, was very friendly and gave me tons of recommendations for what to do during my time in Bled! It felt like staying at your mom’s friend’s house— you don’t know her, but she treats you like you go way back. The kitchen facilities were all new, and there were plenty of bathrooms for the amount of people that were there (mid May).
The bed curtains are a bit see-through, so I felt like i couldn’t use my light without bothering my roommates. I’d still rather have those than nothing, which is the situation in many hostels.

Colleen is an amazing host. She took me to the doctors when I was sick and was always around to make sure everyone and everything was ok. The place is in a great location just a short walk from the main bus stop and the lake. Everything was very clean and the rooms were comfortable with curtains which were great.
The kitchen got a bit crowded at peak meal time but I just cooked my food in advance to avoid chaos so it was ok!
