About this apartment rental
At 200 meters from the main square, a graceful and silent attic equipped with all comforts, for a relaxing and peaceful stay. The apartment consists of an equipped kitchen complete with sofa bed, bedroom with double bed and single bed, bathroom with tub, shower and bidet. For a total of five beds. Possibility to use a baby bed and a raised chair.
They are also available to our guests LCD TV, washing machine, iron, hair dryer, vacuum cleaner, clothesline. The strong point of the house is represented by the covered sun terrace, which overlooks the historic center and the green Bovesana hill.
Convenient car parking.
Bath and kitchen towels, bed linen and final cleaning are included.
Boves, Martyred City for the Resistance, gold medal for Civil Valor and Military Valor, saw the birth of the first partisan formations organized, in the aftermath of the Armistice of 8 September 1943. On 19 September 1943 it was the scene of the first act of retaliation against the civilian population, by the German occupation troops.
In 1983 the first Peace School was born, visited by important personalities of culture and politics, by almost all the Presidents of the Italian Republic and by two Ambassadors of the Federal Republic of Germany. It is possible to visit the permanent exhibition of the partisan painter Adriana Filippi, who in a sort of primitive photographic reportage, fixed some scenes of partisan life on the Bisalta.
A few minutes from the center, you cannot miss the Sanctuary of the Madonna dei Boschi with the frescoes on the life of Mary, and the pictorial cycles of the Last Judgment and the Tale of the Passion, attributed to the "Maestro di Ciglié" and the famous Regina Pacis Sanctuary of Fontanelle.
8 km from Cuneo, about 25 from the ski resorts of Limone and the Mondolè area (Prato Nevoso and Artesina) and about 40 from the Langhe UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The La Terrazza property was the most lovely and charming apartment to stay in for our visit to Boves. It was spacious, well equipped, and close to downtown Boves. It felt safe and comfortable, and it was easy to communicate (in Italian and English) with the wonderful host for check-in, needs during stay, and check out. We would most certainly stay there again when we are in Boves.
Items to note:
-In the summer it is warm/hot in Boves, yet the hosts had several cooling fans in place for us. (And, we noticed plenty of heaters if we had needed them for a winter stay).
-There is no WiFi in the apartment and the Vodaphone Network has low capacity, so if there is a way to bring a separate/stand alone hotspot that works without WiFi, that would be helpful (or just stay off the internet and enjoy the town, which is what we did).
-There is a full kitchen, so cooking your own meals is easy (grocery store is just a short walk down the road) but several nice restaurants in town and in Cuneo if you want to go out to eat.
-The patio overlooks the spires of the town church, municipal hall, and the amazing surrounding mountains. It was lovely to sit out in the cool mornings and enjoy the view. (Warm in the afternoon though because sun was on that side).
Again, a wonderful location, as if staying at your best friend's house or at your family's house for a getaway.
