About this house rental
This picturesque rustico made of stone lies in the hamlet of Longoio, an oasis of peace, in the middle of fields of the Serchio-valley and green woods.
In this area you will also find a lot of brooks. This is an independent house which was restored by the owner with great care and love.The last part of the road about 800 m (which is only conducting to the property) is not asphalted. The whole property is about 10.000 sqm with lots of olive trees. The outdoor area is equipped with a table, chairs, deck-chairs and barbeque. Parking within the grounds.
It is important to know that the house has no heating but the owner puts wood for free at the guests’ disposal.
The owner does not charge anything extra for the final cleaning and for both linen and towels. In exchange, he requires the clients that they leave the house clean, tidy as it was upon arrival. If the house is left dirty, the owner may charge the guests with 60,00 € to cover the cleaning expenses.
The property is situated in the municipality of Bagni di Lucca which is well known and loved for its therapeutic springs – these springs are a big attraction for tourists.
Discover the medieval villages of Benabbio and Brandeglio, the antique fort of Luccio or make a trip on the mountain river “Orrido di Botri” which is known as the canyon of the Apennines, where you may immerse in an intact nature.
For the adventure lovers, about 10 km away from the holiday home, there is the exciting Canyon Park, an adventure park along Lima river where visitors of all ages can take part in a diverse range of activities, including rafting, water hiking, the Hawaiian “art of stand up paddle boarding an elaborate ropes course and numerous other offerings.

The house is composed of: dining room, kitchen with stove , fridge with freezer compartment, stone sink, radio, SAT TV and DVD player utility room with washing machine, 1 bathroom with shower, wc, bidet. Steep wooden staircase to the 1st floor: 1 double bedroom, 1 room with 1 double bed , fire-place, exit onto the back of the garden. The house was restored by maintaining its original character – this means walls made of stone, beamed ceilings, terracotta tiled floors and furnishings in Tuscan style.
The following might be to be paid extra: Pets, Refundable Security Deposit in cash.

Tolles Haus in toller Lage!
Der Eigentümer ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und spricht deutsch.
Das Grundstück liegt sehr isoliert und ist tausende qm gross, vermutlich ein terrassierter ehemaliger Olivenhain, inzwischen hauptsächlich lichter Eichenwald. Hier gibt es viel zu erkunden und Kinder können sich stundenlang herumtreiben, im Bach am Haus spielen (Schuhe! Unseren ist ein Glas darin zerbrochen aber so gut wie möglich beseitigt) oder die dutzenden Eidechsen beobachten die in den vielen Trockenmauern leben. Ein tolles Naturerlebnis mit schöner Aussicht und Morgensonne auf der Terrasse.

Wir haben ein ruhiges und einsames Ferienhaus gesucht und gefunden. Es war alles sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Ein Traum in Mitten der Natur.

Das kleine Häuschen liegt super schön in einer naturbelassenen Umgebung und ist liebevoll restauriert. Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit und wir haben uns sehr über den Kontakt mit dem überaus freundlichen Vermieter gefreut. Alles in allem absolut empfehlenswert.

Un luogo felicemente isolato, in un bel bosco alle spalle di Bagni di Lucca, posizione ideale per esplorare Appennino e Alpi Apuane. Proprietario cortese e disponibile, casa rustica ma molto curata e con ogni comfort, giardino tenuto bene che si espande nel bosco, ideale per chi vuole stare immerso nella natura.
