Amazing remote location with beautiful views
Access road in poor state. A normal car would not get down this track without considerable damage. 4x4 in my opinion is needed to get there.

Knocklea is a wonderful home from home. Well equipped, and enormous, in a tranquil setting. Also, as we surprisingly needed, due to this year's awful July weather, I can report it is cosy and warm. As a group of 7 plus 2 dogs, we had more than enough space to relax. We really enjoyed our stay, and our friends' children said it was the best house they had stayed in all holiday.
It's not a complaint, but please respect the owner's policy and prerogative regarding dogs. Dogs have limited access to the house - basically the vinyl floored areas, being kitchen and utility room - but there is ample compensation with the size of the garden that our girls loved. And that's before you go out for walkies! So if your dogs are "furniture dogs", you might want to choose elsewhere, but otherwise highly recommended!

The road to the house is 5miles of single track with passing places and followed by 2miles of a dirt track. The house is beautiful but well overdue a makeover.
