Very interesting historic property in small town. Easy town to walk around although parking is very limited. Lovely bakery for fresh breakfast and the local bar down the street has great coffee. Very traditional Italian town with friendly locals.
It was very difficult to find the building which is off the street inside the gated school compound. A code is needed to open the gate and it is not clear from the listing that the property is inside the gated area of the school and not accessible or visible from the street. If the app or the e-mail listed some simple instructions like, " You must enter the gate code xxxxx to open the main gate for the school. There is plenty of parking inside the gated area". This would have made the arrival so easy. Not sure why bookings.com is so limited on access information and rely entirely on the host to answer their phone when you arrive. With my limited Italian fluency it was difficult for the hostess to communicate the gate information over the phone. Instead we had to walk around the area for about 45 minutes to try to find the building entrance. Street and paid parking was not available. Fortunately we had two people so that one could drive around and the other could look around. Parking outside the gated area is sparse.

the rooms are nice, but its an old convent, with moring school inside , so morning can be very busy with young students ,
at arrival lift needs keys and a long hallway, as well to go in and out gate needs keys,
stuff at check in treat you almost like a college student, I am over 50 ...
good value for price, not sure if would go back ...

The host was friendly. Tea and coffee present in the apartment. Beautiful building.
The building turned out to be a school with a separate entrance for the guests. We felt like we were disturbing. It was very cold in the room and there was a loud sound coming from the bathroom continuously.
It was not possible to speak on the phone regarding the check in time over the provided phone number as the person did not speak english.
