Our family stayed for 5 days, 4 nights and would have stayed longer if we could have. The house itself is tastefully decorated and unexpectedly well outfitted. The kitchen had every high-end appliance we could have asked for and more to spare, which is great since we all had an evening to to cook. About the drive…yep, it’s steep. You’ll need to have your AWD/4WD ready if you want to handle it, but fortunately, there’s an older 4WD supplied to stay on the property if you need to use it. We tried it with our 2022 Hyundai Tucson and quickly retreated to get the loaner. Such a blessing! We weren’t quite ready to depart with our transmission. The views were unbelievable. Most of our time was spent on the top deck with the rest on the playground or hiking with the grandkids. Daniel was an excellent host. When we arrived the ice maker had been shut off for repairs, and he gladly hauled ice up to us. We were grateful to meet him and spend a few minutes. This trip was absolutely one for the books. I honestly can’t think of anything I’d have changed; we’ll remember it forever.

The view from this spot is unmatched, but be aware - the road getting up to the property is very steep and has lots of switchbacks! If you're not super comfortable driving on mountain roads, you may want to consider another rental. Otherwise, this spot was good - great for a big group, a well-stocked kitchen for cooking, a nice trail nearby to hike on, and the hot tub was amazing. We all enjoyed our stay.

We loved the house and the view. There was a nice short (but steep) hike right above the house that we enjoyed. There were plenty of bedrooms and beds, as well as several common areas so people could enjoy different activities at the same time. There was also lots of outdoor space (porch and lower outside deck) with a hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, small appliance and cookware. They also provided ground coffee, sugar and dry creamer. It is a long way from any conveniences, so be prepared and bring food/drinks you will need with you. The last 3/4 of a mile is a steep curvy gravel road, but we all have all wheel drive cars and had no problem accessing the property. Overall, we loved it and had a wonderful time!
