About this house rental
This small and romantic house really makes the most of the available space. It is nicely and brightly furnished. The terraces face south, east and west and the sun can be enjoyed at any time of day, so to speak. From the terrace you look out over the beautiful fenced garden, where the children can play. From here you also have a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea. The beautiful surrounding nature is able to attract everyone to outdoor activities. Paths, beach, water, tennis court, playground - all this you can easily reach on foot.
At the nearby family-friendly bathing beach there is also a bathing jetty that you can use. On Kegnæs there are wonderful bathing beaches and you don't have far to go to any of them. Here you can enjoy the beach life at any time of the year. There are also good fishing opportunities here.
Als offers a variety of historical treasures in a small area, including some of Denmark's most famous castles and mills. Visit Augustenborg Slot, for example, which was built in 1770 and today houses an exhibition about the dramatic history of the castle and the ducal family.
At Sønderborg Castle, you can learn more about the turbulent history of Southern Jutland under changing Danish and German rule in a variety of exhibitions. Sønderborg also has a beautiful harbor with sailing ships and restaurants, as well as many nice stores.
Also visit the history center Dybbøl Banke, where history is told eryähler.
Active holidaymakers will find Als particularly good opportunities for cycling and hiking on the many tranquil paths that wind through deep forests and past fields, and the conditions for windsurfers are also ideal.
