Welcome to Haus Adler in Maranza – your comfortable holiday apartment in South Tyrol with a wonderful view of the Dolomites. Our family-run house is quietly and sunny located on the Maranza plateau, right in the heart of the Gitschberg Jochtal holiday region. Here you can enjoy carefree days in a spacious apartment that accommodates up to ten guests – perfect for families, couples or groups of friends looking for nature and relaxation.
The apartment offers several bedrooms, three bathrooms, a large open-plan kitchen and a terrace with a magnificent panoramic view. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, refrigerator, coffee machine, kettle, dishes and all necessary utensils. Wi-Fi, TV, bed linen and towels are included.
In the well-kept garden with lawn, barbecue area and small natural pond, you can relax, enjoy the sun or end the day peacefully. Dogs are also very welcome – hiking trails and nature start right outside the door.
In summer, you can set off directly from the house for beautiful hikes into the Altfasstal valley, to the Rodeneck-Luson alpine pastures or onto the Gitschberg plateau. Cyclists and mountain bikers will also find ideal conditions. In winter, the valley station of the family-friendly Gitschberg Jochtal ski area is only about 200 metres away. Skiing, snowboarding, sledding and cross-country skiing – all just a few steps from your accommodation.
A special advantage is the Almencard Plus, which is included in the price. With it, you can use all public transport in South Tyrol free of charge, enjoy one free round trip per day with the Gitschberg or Jochtal cable cars (during the periods 29 May – 11 July and 15 September – 7 November 2025), and benefit from numerous discounts at partner businesses such as the Alpinpool Maranza, museums and leisure facilities.

We loved our stay here. The manager was friendly and accommodating, and let my kids feed their pet rabbits. The place was clean and comfortable, and had amazing views. We would definitely stay here again!

My wife and three teenagers/tweens had a lovely overnight stop-over in Haus Adler as we headed to Venice and Tuscany to meet friends for our first (unfortunately last, for college expense reasons) grand European family vacation. Arriving from North Tyrol by car, we arrived to the warm hospitality (and excellent English) of Peter and his wife. The Dolomites were suitably pink from the balcony window, and we were treated to warm South Tyrol hospitality: we were offered the opportunity to watch the Germany/Italy European Cup semi-final, but we decided to head to a restaurant in Meransen to watch the game with a crowd. Half the jerseys were German, half Italian, and a friendly rivalry good time was had by all. I was impressed with our opportunity to connect with the Adlers in such short time (one night), and this memory of the warmth of the South Tyroleans will stay with us. Needless to say, the mattresses and pillows at Haus Adler were excellent, and were followed by a strenuous (but not too strenuous) day hike through the Dolomites en route to Venice. Haus Adler is highly recommended!!
