Chalet Fortuna 2 is a 3 bedroom 1st-floor holiday apartment with great views of the Jungfrau from its south-facing terrace. Nicely situated in a quiet area, it's only a short level walk to the centre of the family-friendly car-free village of Wengen, making it a prime choice for convenience and comfort!
This apartment sleeps up to 6 people:
Bedroom 1 = 2 single / twin beds (can be joined or separated)
Bedroom 2 = 1 double king-size bed
Bedroom 3 = 2 single / twin beds (can be joined or separated)
All beds are European sizes.
Bathroom 1 = en-suite with shower and WC
Bathroom 2 = bathtub with shower overhead and WC
Bathroom 3 = en-suite with shower and WC
Apartment location - Just a 350m level walk from the train station, 300m to the nearest grocery store and 450m to the cable car and nursery ski slopes, mountain hiking and ski areas are just a few steps away!
Top finishes and attention to detail are evident throughout this bright and spacious apartment. It has all the comforts of home, with three charming bedrooms along with three modern, immaculate bathrooms. What you should know...
Although Wengen is a "car-free" mountain village, arriving by car is no problem. There is a large multi-storey car park at Lauterbrunnen train station, with trolleys for your luggage and lifts to the station platforms. It is just a 14-minute scenic cog train ride up to Wengen. The trains depart every 30 minutes until 9.30 pm and then hourly. Taxis are available for hire at Wengen train station if required.
As part of your booking, a mandatory non-refundable damage waiver of CHF 35 is required. This waiver offers you protection against accidental damage during your stay, ensuring peace of mind without the need for a traditional refundable security deposit.

The views of the mountains are so beautiful. The apartment is a convenient location, spacious, well equipped, very clean and has comfortable furniture and beds. There are two outdoor area - the large patio and a large balcony. The staff at Wengen apartments is so nice and easy to deal with. Any little request was looked after very quickly. We will definitely stay again next year!
The furniture on the balcony could use replacing.

My husband and I came with two other couples to experience Switzerland, and used Wengen as our home base. Fortuna 2 was the perfect choice for us. Everything in the home was clean, the furniture and beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with plates and cups, etc. This is the main level of the building, but still the views…were stunning!!

Very comfortable apartment with all you need. Location is very convenient with a 3 min walk to the train and supermarket. Beds are new and comfortable and plenty of seating in the living room.
All in all: great apartment!
There is a need to reconsider the lighting in the livingroom and above the dining table.

We loved our stay at Chalet Fortuna 2. It was a perfect space for our family. We spent a lot of time on the beautiful patio looking at the view. We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and found the beds to be very comfortable. A perfect location.
