About this cottage rental
Cliff Cottage is located in the heart of the Lincolnshire countryside at Welton Cliff, a 10 minute drive into the historic city of Lincoln. 2 miles from the village of Welton with lots of amenities including a pub, tea rooms and small supermarket.
Cliff Cottage has 5 bedrooms and can sleep up to 10 people. 2 bedrooms are en suite and there are a further 2 bathrooms serving the remaining bedrooms. There is a large kitchen / diner with a cosy sitting room next door and a second sitting room which is a newly completed extension with a large window providing great views of the countryside.
Cliff Cottage is finished to a high standard and has eco-friendly heating provided by a biomass boiler. The cottage provides the perfect setting for a family holiday in picturesque surroundings. There is a large garden perfect for sitting out in and admiring the views, of which the floodlit cathedral can be seen on a clear night.
The cottage has wi-fi, 2 flat screen TV's and ample parking space.
We also offer Cliff Cottage for corporate lettings.

We had a great stay, accommodation was very good. Everything v clean and well organised. The house is lovely and plenty of room for 8 adults. A couple of minor suggestions: a potato masher in kitchen would be useful, also maybe consider another fridge in utility room. Finally downstairs bedroom was v cold, perhaps radiator not fully functioning? All other rooms were lovely and warm. Thank you for a great stay, would def recommend

Perfect location for visiting Lincoln. Fabulous house described as family friendly cottage and that's exactly what it was. Had everything we needed for a long weekend with all the facilities. Lovely and clean and well looked after.

Checkin couldn't have been easier - simply collected the keys from the lock box.Kitchen was amazing, I've never stayed anywhere with such a huge supply of crockery, pot, pans & glasses. Everything we needed was there, right down to washing up liquid, bin bags, and washing machine detergent. Absolutely superb.Only a couple of small criticisms, firstly the downstairs toilet door only locks from the outside! There were 3 kids under 10 in our party so privacy was a real issue. Secondly, the apple tree in the garden was absolutely crawling with wasps and if we opened the sliding glass door they were straight into the house. We told the landscape gardener about it and he already knew there was a problem. He promised to deal with it but it made no difference, so the kids couldn't play in the garden which was a real shame.

Whilst we enjoyed our stay and the property was nicely decorated for Christmas we wouldn’t choose to stay here again. There are no facilities for small children at all and bar the main bedroom the other 4 double bedded rooms are too small to fit a travel cot. There is plenty of equipment in the kitchen but only a single oven, bit of a challenge cooking for 10! There isn’t really seating for 10 in the lounge either. Minimal information and the property is in need of a good clean and bit of minor maintenance. Having said all that, a quiet location with easy access to Lincoln.
