This coastal duplex (upstairs unit) is a perfect vacation rental for large families, or two small families vacationing together. Two master bedrooms, two living rooms and two additional bedrooms all walking distance to the Del Mar beach, downtown Del Mar, the Del Mar Racetrack and Fairgrounds.

Host was very attentive! Really enjoyed the short walk to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked. Was nice to have garage and never having to worry about parking. Definitely plan to stay here again!

We spent most of our time at the beach. Del Mar beach is one of the nicest, cleanest beaches in the San Diego area. Great for families. Train Station is close by so we took the Coaster to San Diego Santa Fe Station and went to the Midway and Seaport Village.

This place was fantastic -- maybe better than the pictures show.First, note that this a duplex. For this rental, you get the entire second floor. The owner or owner’s family lives on the first floor.The place is very beautiful with lots of great comfort items: great wood-looking floors, very comfortable leather recliners, multiple big screen TVs, fully stocked kitchen with modern cooking supplies, modern washer/dryer, a large balcony with a dining table and sitting area, and a beautiful hot-tub on the ground floor outside. There is probably even more than I’m not thinking of. It’s much nicer than most VRBOs that I have stayed at.Janet, the owner, was extremely nice and extremely helpful. She even tracked down a few extra items that we needed.And, most importantly, the beach is only a block away.This place is really a steal for the price.
